MONGOLIA AND TURKEY TARGETS TO INCREASE TRADE TURNOVER TO USD 300 MILLION
Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh held official talks with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, who is paying an official visit to Mongolia. Mongolia pays attention on developing comprehensive partnership and cooperation with Turkey and aims at broadening cooperation in all spheres, emphasized Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh. He expressed his satisfaction with intensifying bilateral relations between the two countries in the fields of politics, defense, culture, education and science as a result of bilateral efforts. PM U.Khurelsukh also underlined that the two sides agreed to conduct joint studies on feasibility of establishing agreement on Free Trade between Mongolia and Turkey and it has great importance to intensify the economic ties further. The sides put certain proposals targeting to reach trade turnover USD 300 million in a short time. Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation in fields of budget, finance, agriculture, light industry, emergency, construction and urban development, road, transportation, energy, mining, free zone, foreign citizens' migration and tourism and strengthen trust and cooperation between private sectors, businesses and investors. "The Republic of Turkey has rapidly developed health, road, transportation and communication sectors in the last 15 years. We are ready to share our experiences on it with Mongolia," said PM Binali Yildirim. Furthermore, Turkish side expressed possibilities of cooperation in renewable energy sector and cooperation between the Housing Development Administration of Turkey which has built over 700 thousand apartments, with corresponding organization of Mongolia to provide citizens apartments.
