CONSULTATIONS ON ‘FOREIGN TRADE AND INVESTMENT ENVIRONMENT AND ITS CHALLENGES’
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bank of Mongolia organized a consultation themed ‘Foreign trade and investment environment and its challenges’, inviting over 120 delegates from the Embassies in Mongolia, international, public and private organizations.
Attendees of the consultation discussed about reducing over-dependency of Mongolia’s economy on mining sector, diversifying export goods and issues on investment climate and financing and shared views on possibilities of using bilateral and multilateral cooperation in it.
The Government of Mongolia is paying special attention on supporting non-mining products with export potential and striving to improve conditions for national producers to enter foreign market, facilitate foreign trade and lower trade expenses by providing prompt border and customs services within the ‘Mongolian Export’ program.
