DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF MONGOLIA H.E. ENKHTUVSHIN ULZIISAIKHAN VISITED TURKEY
Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia H.E. Enkhtuvshin Ulziisaikhan, as a capacity of Minister in charge of economic free zone issues, paid a study visit to Turkey with the aim of enhancing the bilateral cooperation in the field of economic free zones between Mongolia and Turkey. The delegation visited the two main free zones in Turkey, namely “Istanbul Free Zone” and “Aegean Free Zone”. there are currently total of 18 free zones in Turkey. Delegation also visited some of the factories that are operating in the free zones.
On the sidelines of the visit, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia H.E. Enkhtuvshin Ulziisaikhan also visited the HQs of the Turkey’s Petroleum Pipeline Company (BOTAŞ) in Ankara. BOTAŞ, a state-owned enterprise, was established in 1974 and initially operates in transportation of crude oil and transportation and trade of natural gas through pipelines, and gets involved in various international and domestic pipeline projects.
