On the occasion of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Turkey, Izmir Katip Çelebi University hosted an academic conference on “Mongolia-Turkey Relations Past, Present and Future” in city of Izmir, Turkey. Scholars and academicians from National University of Mongolia, Mongolian Academy of Sciences and Izmir Katip Çelebi University, Istanbul University, Atatürk University, Hacettepe University and Editepe University from Turkey participated at the conference and presented their research works. Izmir Katip Çelebi University signed a cooperation document with National University of Mongolia on May 2019, and starting from October 2019, every year, students from the Turkology faculty of National University of Mongolia will take a 1-year Turkish language courses in Izmir.
