On the sidelines of the 50^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolian and Turkey, the press-tour of Mongolian journalists was jointly organized by TIKA and the Embassy of Mongolia in Turkey. The press and media representatives worked visited Ankara, Eskişehir and Istanbul and got introduced with political, social, economic situation of Turkey as well as such leading sectors as health, agriculture, tourism and air transportation. Moreover, the representatives visited Turkish Grand National Assembly, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkish Airlines Headquarters, Association of Turkish Travel Agencies and get acquainted with activities of Ankara City Hospital and Anadolu farm in Eskişehir. Also, they got interviews from the Chairman of the Turkish-Mongolian parliamentary friendship group Mr. Mehmet Erdoğan and Vice President of TIKA Dr. Rahman Nurdun. Besides the official part of the trip, the journalists met with Mongolian citizens living, studying and working in Turkey and visited the premises of the non-governmental organization “Mongolian brothers and sisters” operating in Istanbul.
