VISIT TO THE YUNUS EMRE INSTITUTE
Prof. Dr. Şeref Ateş, President of the Yunus Emre Institute, welcomed H.E. Mr. Bold Ravdan, Ambassador of Mongolia, at his Institute and provided information on Institute’s activity and projects that it has been implementing. Ambassador has informed that 2019 is a special year that marks the 50th anniversary the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey and exchanged views on opportunities to cooperate in the field of education, culture and Turkish studies. The Yunus Emre Institute was established in 2009 to promote Turkey, Turkish language, its history and culture and art, provide services abroad to people who want to have education in the fields of Turkish language, culture and art, to improve the friendship between Turkey and other countries and increase the cultural exchange. It has more than 58 cultural centres in 46 foreign countries. In 2017, the Mongolian two professors attended the summer training course hosted by the Institute.
