The Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) and the Embassy of Mongolia in Turkey jointly organized the panel titled “Eurasia from the Perspective of Turkey and Mongolia”. The panelists addressed the historical, sociological and political aspects of Turkish-Mongolian Relations and its projections to Eurasia. The Director of the National Institute for Security Studies of Mongolia Prof. O.Mashbat was invited as one of the panelists and made a presentation about Mongolian foreign policy challenges and opportunities. On the sidelines of his visit to Turkey to attend the panel, Prof. O.Mashbat held meetings with Ms. Sibel Erkan, Head of Department of the Turkish MFA’s Center for Strategic Research (SAM), H.E. Mr. Aydın Nurhan, Vice Chairman of Turkish Asian Center for Strategic Studies (TASAM), and Prof. Dr. Muhittin Ataman, Director of Foreign Policy Studies of the SETA Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research.
