The Center for Strategic Research of the MFA of Turkey is a think-tank and a research center which was established as a consultative body to provide Turkish Foreign Policy decision makers with scholarly and scientific assessments of relevant issues. Currently this center is led by Assoc. Prof. Mesut Özcan who is the Director of the Diplomacy Academy of the MFA as well. The Strategic Research Institute of the Mongolian National Security Council cooperates with this Center and jointly organizes the annual workshops in Ulaanbaatar and Ankara.

H.E. Bold Ravdan, Ambassador Designate of Mongolia in Ankara, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Mesut Özcan and was briefed on the Center’s activities and programs. They discussed the possibility to organize an extended conference involving dignitaries, academicians and business people in the framework of celebration the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey.
