MONGOLIA AND TURKEY ARE KEEN TO STRENGTHEN ECONOMIC COOPERATION
The Chief of Staff of the President of Mongolia Mr, Enkhbold Zandaakhuu met with H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, while visiting the country to attend the inauguration ceremony of H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a special envoy of the President and exchanged views on bilateral relation issues. During the meeting the Minister noted the importance given to the Mongolia-Turkish relations, pointing out that there were wide range of opportunities to develop the trade and economic cooperation. In this regard, he underscored the necessity to establish a non-stop direct flight between the cities of Istanbul and Ulaanbaatar. Mr. Enkhbold stressed that the non-visa regime between two countries intensified the people-to-people relations and emphasized the necessity to strengthen cooperation between private sectors in order to bring the economic cooperation to the new level. The issues of cooperation in the field of tourism and agriculture were discussed as well.
