Ambassador of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Bold Ravdan had a meeting with Mr. Osman Uzun, General Director of Meat and Milk Board of Turkey at his office and discussed about future cooperation. Ambassador expressed that Mongolia has over 65 million heads of livestock and is eager to export meat to Turkey, and also Mongolia’s willingness to collaborate with Turkey by using their technologies on establishing a joint meat and milk processing plants in Mongolia for exports. 

Mr. Osman Uzun said his organization is open to any further cooperation with Mongolia and stated that General Directorate of Meat and Milk Board of Turkey was established in 1952 and operates meat processing plants in order to produce high quality meat under hygienic conditions and also in order to meet the meat consumption demand across the country, General Directorate of Meat and Milk Board has imported 800,000 heads of livestock and 20,000 tons of red meat in 2017.
